Cooley advised Dynavax Technologies Corporation (Nasdaq: DVAX), a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company developing and commercializing innovative vaccines, on its successful proxy contest against Deep Track Capital.

Cooley assisted NCSOFT with its strategic investment in Emptyvessel. Partner Sale Kwon led the Cooley team advising NC West, NCSOFT’s North American subsidiary. NCSOFT, headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, is one of the top game publishers in the world.

Cooley advised Genvax Technologies, an Ames, Iowa-based startup dedicated to bringing advances in RNA vaccine production to animal health, on its Series Seed Plus financing round. Lawyers Sale Kwon and Andrew Mettry led the Cooley team advising Genvax. 

Cooley advised Boldend, a top cyber automation company developing software solutions that enhance and scale cyber capabilities, on its acquisition by SIXGEN, a full-spectrum provider of cyber products, operations and solutions to the US national security and critical infrastructure sectors.

Cooley advised Rubicon Technology Partners – a Boulder, Colorado-based private equity firm focused exclusively on investing in and growing software companies – on its majority strategic investment in Vimly Benefit Solutions, a leader in the benefits administration space.
